Six Individuals Hospitalized After Cecil Township Car Fire

Six individuals were sent to the hospital after a car fire on Sunday night. The fire started in Cecil Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania near the corner of Chartiers Run Road and O’Hare Road. There is no word yet on the severity of the victim’s injuries or what may have caused the fire.

When a car fire occurs, it is possible that the origin of the fire stems from a defective part in the car itself. An undetected faulty fuel system may cause a serious fire, especially when a car accident takes place. Car occupants could sustain burn injuries or fatalities if the fire is uncontrollable or an explosion sparks a fire.
