Case Filed in Manhattan for Young Girl Tragically Injured in Accident

Attorneys Fredric Eisenberg and Stewart Eisenberg recently filed a case in The Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County on behalf of Valerie Piro and her parents. Valerie is a 17 year old Stuyvesant student who was catastrophically injured while on a school trip. She was headed to Dartmouth College with her teammates and coach when the coach lost control of the Ford E-350 passenger van causing it to veer off the highway and roll over. Ms. Piro was wearing her seat belt but was still partially ejected from the van. As a result of the accident, Valerie suffered a C-7 burst fracture and is paralyzed from the chest down. Despite the tragic accident and devastating injuries, Valerie remains upbeat and optimistic that she will someday walk again.
