Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C., Welcomes New Associate Jessica Colliver

Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C., welcomes Jessica Colliver to the firm as its newest associate.

Jessica, a 2017 graduate of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, joins the firm after practicing law for two years at a regional Mid-Atlantic law firm defending health care providers in malpractice litigation involving catastrophic injuries. Before entering private practice, Jessica clerked for the Honorable Lisa M. Rau of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas for two years.

Jessica will be joining Eisenberg Rothweiler in representing catastrophically injured individuals and their families in their complex personal injury, product liability, crashworthiness, sexual abuse, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims against those who have harmed them.

“We’re excited to add Jessica and her skills to our growing firm,” said Nancy Winkler, a shareholder at Eisenberg Rothweiler. “Jessica’s time clerking with Judge Rau and defending malpractice lawsuits will add depth to our team of lawyers focused on helping our catastrophically injured clients prevail through life’s toughest trials.”

While at Temple Law, Jessica won six different “Distinguished Class Performance” awards, was on the Dean’s List for five semesters, was an editor of the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review, and wrote a comment published in it in Spring 2016.

“I’m looking forward to moving to the plaintiffs’ side of personal injury litigation because of the impact plaintiffs’ lawyers have on the lives of people who have been injured through no fault of their own,” said Jessica. “I joined Eisenberg Rothweiler because the firm is willing to devote the extra time, effort, and expense necessary to secure the best possible outcomes for its clients that few local personal injury firms are willing to devote.”

During law school, Jessica interned at the Pennsylvania Innocence Project, the Montgomery County Public Defender, and the Defender Association of Philadelphia. While she was in law school, Jessica worked as a legal assistant in the Philadelphia office of Reed Smith LLP.

Jessica is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. She graduated cum laude from Dickinson College in May 2011.

It takes a specific mindset, specialized skills and substantial resources. The types of cases we handle are not the average personal injury. They involve severe, permanent injuries to people that radically affect their lives forever, or in some instances, even cause their death.
